
Melissa Coleman
Associate
Melissa is an Associate at Cronin Litigation Lawyers. She joined the firm in 2011 as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland.
Graduating from Bond University with Honours, Melissa holds a Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Queensland College of Law. Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Melissa has developed strong professional ties and is very much a part of the Gold Coast business community.
Melissa's areas of practice include:-
- Commercial litigation;
- Property disputes and litigation;
- Body Corporate and building disputes, including claims under the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act;
- Debt recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency;
- QCAT litigation; and
- Alternative dispute resolution.
Melissa is a member of the Queensland Law Society's Early Career Lawyers sub-committee and in that role, has made numerous contributions to the monthly QLS 'Proctor' publication. Melissa is also the Secretary of Young Professionals Gold Coast and a Committee Member of the Gold Coast chapter of Women of Influence.
Melissa prides herself on delivering high quality service and legal knowledge, with an aim to foster personal client relationships and maximise the value that her clients receive.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys cooking, soaking up the beautiful Gold Coast weather and a great RPM class at the gym.
