Damien Freeman

Damien was admitted as a Solicitor in 2015 and joined the Cronin Litigation Lawyers team in April 2017.  Damien previously practiced in Brisbane, gaining valuable experience in body corporate and management rights disputes, insolvencies, partnership disputes, building and construction and planning disputes, contractual disputes, financial services disputes and debt recoveries.

Damien graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction) prior to completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Australian National University and has a passionate interest in all aspects of commercial law.

Having started, built and ultimately sold a financial services advice practice and also having founded an Australian Financial Services Licensee with operations in 3 states, Damien understands the repercussions that can flow from protracted court proceedings.  Damien is committed to the commercial resolution of disputes, but is happy to have a matter resolved in court if the circumstances require it be.

Damien has lived and worked overseas and enjoys travel, but in his spare time he particularly enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cycling and mountain biking.
